Intelligent, sensible, and reliable. Shadow and Akechi have spent a lot of time discussing the nature of the Convoy and the roadtrip they've been forced on.

He was really nice about Shadow trying to eat him.

Jayce Talis

While Shadow is still a little wary of Jayce, his opinion on him is still leaning positive.

John Doe

Shadow once saw a crime drama where the victim was named John Doe. John seems kind of snappy and paranoid, but he's not stupid and reasonably helpful.

Leonardo

Initially, Shadow found Leonardo kind of annoying, but since then he's discovered that they have a few things in common. Leo is still a little annoying, but in a way Shadow finds charming.

Levi Jořdán

Kind of a weirdo? But also willing to help Shadow solve the mystery of coffee, which is a point in his favor.

Murderbot

Shadow feels kind of bad for almost attacking it on Roger's say-so.

Osamu Dazai

Got stuck in a trash can.

Roger

An unusually inept robot. He asked Shadow for help fighting Murderbot, only for it to turn out Murderbot wasn't trying to hurt anyone. Shadow is still reasonably fond of Roger, but definitely frustrated with him right now.

Ruby Rose

A strange and silly girl, but her boundless enthusiasm is charming.

Serph

Serph talked Shadow down from trying to eat someone and has been a steadfast and reliable source of information. Shadow doesn't feel much affection for him, but does respect him a lot.

A little odd, but pretty reliable.

Waver Velvet

Knows a little about stars.

Yang Xiaolong

First person to test the radios.
